Melissa Wethington

Academic Navigator

Melissa Wethington serves as the Academic Navigator for the Alamo Bridges program at Texas A&M University–San Antonio. With a master’s degree in special education and more than 15 years of experience in education and community outreach, she is deeply committed to increasing access to meaningful resources and opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Melissa prioritizes building strong, collaborative partnerships that broaden reach, strengthen community connections, and create sustainable impact. Through cross-sector engagement, she is determined to increase inclusion, expand opportunities for people of all abilities, and help drive forward positive transformation within the vocational rehabilitation field.
